What are the Symptoms of Coνid?

It is important to contact your doctor as soon as Coνid-19 symptoms appear as studies show that early treatment is the key to successful treatment. Early treatment is especially important for people at high-risk.1

If you are experiencing severe symptoms call the emergency services or go to your nearest emergency department for assistance. Difficulty breathing or severe chest pain is a sign of serious illness and needs medical attention immediately.

Which People are at High Risk?

High risk patients are those over 50 years of age, with one or more other medical conditions, such as:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Lung disease (such as asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, etc)
  • Kidney disease
  • Hypertension
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • History of cancer treatment
  • History of taking corticosteroids regularly

What are the symptoms of Coνid?

For most people, the first symptoms are similar to those of a cold or flu. The difference is that Coνid can quickly develop into severe respiratory difficulties, marked inflammation, and increased risk of serious blood clots. These complications are different from what is seen with typical colds or flu, and are what cause the most serious, potentially life-threatening damage.

The three most critical symptoms of Coνid are:

  • difficulty breathing (shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, pressure in your chest),
  • severe dry cough.
  • Fever

Typical Symptoms include the following (but not all will usually occur)

  • Runny nose, sneezing
  • Sudden onset of marked fatigue, loss of energy
  • Body aches, muscle aches, headaches
  • Cough (usually a drycough).
  • Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chest tightness.
  • Loss of taste or smell, loss of appetite, nausea, gastrointestinal upset
  • Feeling feverish (even if fever is not present) and night chills
  • Drop in blood oxygen concentration (measured with a finger oximeter) indicates serious respiratory problems
  • Rapid heart rate, palpitations
