Summer Sunshine Diffuser Blend
This first essential oil blend is perfect during the summertime. When the temperatures get hotter, you might be looking for a way to feel energized and refreshed. Think of citrus and similar scents to put the diffuser combination together. This might include some lemon and lemongrass, grapefruit, peppermint, lavender, and a little bit of wild orange or bergamot added to the mix. You can use all of these, or make your own little custom combination of oils.
Sunshine is an energising and invigorating ready-made blend which consists of orange, cinnamon bark, cinnamon leaf, camphor and eucalyptus essential oils.
Bedtime Ritual Diffuser Blend
On the other hand, you may be looking to use your essential oil diffuser in the evening. If this is the case, an entirely different set of oils will be combined to promote relaxation, calmness, and improved sleep. For this type of combination, consider chamomile, lavender, and rose. You can also try some orange essential oil added to this mix to feel an improved mood while also being relaxed with the other oils.
Dreamer is a ready-made blend consisting of sage, lavender, sweet marjoram, grapefruit, damiana, cistus and osmanthus essential oils and is ideal when you want to relax, unwind, or get ready for bed.
Improve Your Focus Diffuser Blend
If you want to use your oil diffuser during the day when you are trying to get more work done, you can use essential oils which are good for focus and concentration such as peppermint, orange, and lemon. You can use these three, or just orange and peppermint for a little bit of a boost in your energy and focus during the day.

This is a good diffuser blend for using the oil diffuser in your home. This is excellent when you are placing the diffuser in your living room, kitchen, or bathroom, where you probably want a fresher scent. Try reducing odours with some lime, lemon and cilantro essential oils. You can also add a little lavender and rose just for all-around refreshing scents, along with citrus like lemon. If you add some citronella to the mix, it will also deter some insects from that part of your home.

How To Use An Essential Oil Diffuser
Diffuse for 30 minutes to 1 hour at a time.
The process of using an essential oil diffuser usually consists of adding water into the machine’s container, then adding a few drops or more of the desired essential oils before switching it on. The unit should be placed in any room you want to enjoy its fragrance.
1. Choose Location for Diffusing
Pick an open area in a room or office with a solid surface. As water is used, it is a good idea to have a placemat or towel if you are using on a wood surface. For best use, avoid placing in direct sunlight or near a fan.
2. Add Water to Your Diffuser
Once you have chosen where to place your diffuser, fill the reservoir tank to the fill line with clean tap water that is at room temperature. Refer to the diffuser manual for the recommended water amount it requires.
3. Add Aromatherapy Oils
Add 3-10 drops of essential oils to the water. You can use a single essential oil or an essential oil blend. Usually, 6 drops of oil is enough but sometimes you may want more oil for a stronger scent. You can experiment with the essential oil amounts to see what you prefer.
4. Turn On
Place cap or top of diffuser back on as your diffuser requires. Turn on and enjoy the wonderful scent!
Not all aromatherapy diffusers are the same as their features usually vary. You may be able to set the length of time you want the diffuser on, or set different time cycles. Some also have light options that you can turn on for a display of colours or a night light. These features vary depending on the brand and model.
